Saturday 17 October from 18:30 to 21:30 is the best window, with the flood three hours in, darkness, light south-south-westerly wind and a neap tide giving the most favourable conditions. Thursday 15 October from 18:00 to 20:00 is a second option, though the sea is very rough (5.1 m waves) with a fresh wind, so check conditions before you go.
