Best bet is Thursday 15 October from 17:30 to 20:30, when the flood has been running for about three hours at dusk in light westerly winds. Friday 16 October from 18:00 to 21:00 is a close second on the same flood and dusk light, with a calmer sea, so it is the one to pick if Thursday's 2 m swell looks too lively.
